Episode 43
A CONVERSATION WITH BRAD BONHAM
BRAD BONHAM’S JOURNEY TO SUCCESS THROUGH RESILIENCE AND DETERMINATION
Meet the man transforming Utah startup culture.
I have a list of people who I admire and always try to spend time with, and Brad Bonham is definitely towards the top of that list.
His deep understanding of business combined with his humility make him a fantastic mentor and friend. In fact, he was one of the most requested guests for my podcast!
Brad is the founder of the incredibly successful Walker Edison, one of the first drop-shipping furniture businesses on the internet. Through an incredible amount of hard work, tenacity, and prayer, they sold billions of dollars of furniture before selling the company in a massive exit. Today, Brad’s focus is all on making an impact and helping aspiring entrepreneurs.
His advice to anyone looking to start a business is the following: “Too many people don’t move (in business)...pick something. Pick anything, and start today. Markets are never going to be perfect for you. Just go pick something and do it right now.”
Brad is also an entrepreneur-in-residence for the state of Utah, and works with the governor’s office to help Utah become the #1 state for startups.
“He helped to create startup.utah.gov, a website and organization full of resources to help Utah entrepreneurs succeed. I highly recommend that any aspiring or current entrepreneurs check it out!”
