A lot of the things we spend all day fighting for don’t even matter.

 

Like many, I know that I sometimes get caught up in the game of making more money.

 

That’s why I love Ty’s family’s mission statement:

 

“Travel well the road back home.”

 

This statement reminds him that one day he is going to die, and when he’s in heaven the only thing he will care about is what he learned during life and how he served those around him.

Ty is a personal hero of mine. Back when I first joined Apex (which later became Vivint) he was already one of the highest performing sales reps, and he agreed to sit down with me, a rookie, and let me ask him questions about leadership, sales, and success, which I then implemented to find my own success.
